I need this so much right now! I know in my heart that I want my child to be cooperative and not just obedient. I am just lacking in the tools to be be able to parent in a way that meets my values.
Yes, I so hear you, Bethany. There is such an incredible difference between ‘cooperative’ and ‘obedient’ and I really honor you for making that distinction! The tools that I’m sharing here and in our Glide For Your Child Programs are completely geared towards strengthening your connection with your child so that you never feel like you have to use your power as a parent to dominate or control a situation. Children become naturally cooperative when they are given the respect and space to do so. Thanks for your comment here. I hope these tools help. They are a beginning….an opening.
